Jazz Shambo is a producer and writer based in Phoenix, Arizona. She works with character-driven, lived-experience storytelling — films rooted in real people, real places, and the communities that mainstream film and television tend to overlook.

She founded UPLFTD Studio in 2023, where she collaborates closely with directors to shape their projects from the narrative up, giving each one a story worth telling. Over her years in the industry, she has made it her mission to lean fully into producing — understanding what it takes to create a film that audiences relate to, and that lives on well past the credits.

Her goal is to empower the Phoenix filmmaking community by creating real opportunity: helping local filmmakers produce their features and see a genuine financial return on their careers. Through UPLFTD Studio, Jazz is building a space where Arizona's stories — and the people who tell them — can thrive.
